“Well it’s the end of the Fall TC and I feel energized!!

I have learnt so much about me over the last 12 weeks!! I know I can be my own worst enemy, but I can also me my best motivation!! I did start strong and completely stepped out of my comfort zone. I upped my weights when I felt I could and kept challenging myself every workout.

My only problem as always was that my weight just wouldn’t budge. I haven’t been able to shift it for a long time now. So, I started looking into the Elimination Diet again and decided to give it another go, but this time doing it right and for the 30 days. Allison and I both started on the same day and it was fantastic having that extra accountability. I am really pleased that I did it and have learnt just what my body needs to burn that fat!!

I’m down 3 kgs which is a major achievement for me as I have never been able to get below 55 kgs for years now, no matter what I did. I love eating the clean ED way and intend to keep on doing it.

Height: 5ft 3 ½
Weight 55.9 kgs ……..53 kgs
Waist: 68……………...63
Belly: 83………………79
Hip: 87……………….. 84
R. thigh: 47……………44.5

Weight: down 3 kgs, cms lost: 19.5 total

I have also learnt that I can come out of my comfort zone, that I enjoyed knowing that it was doing me good. That it’s all down to mindset and just getting the job done and then get on with your day.

I have also learnt that at 46 I am still teachable and loved listening to all the coaching calls, reading blogs, having ah-ha moments!!

I was always worried that at my age I would never get the body I wanted and even asked Holly last year if I was aiming at too much – well you all know what her answer was!! Age has nothing to do with it, we can all achieve so much, just be consistent.

I believe in myself now and know I have sufficient understanding and knowledge to be able to continue along this road without any reminders. It has now become my way of life and yes, its taken me a long time, but just goes to show that it can be done!

I have no support system here at home so FYM is my everything to keep me focused, motivated and inspired every day.

I have already got my present for finishing this TC and it’s a very special one!!

About 23 years ago (long, long time ago) I had a little butterfly tattooed on my butt (or should I say glute!), but over the last few years it just didn’t look that great so I went to see a tattoo artist here to see if he could cover it up with a new butterfly, well he did me a drawing and tattooed it last week and its beautiful!! I totally feel like a new me now!!

I have achieved most of my goals for this TC. The only one that is still left is the push-ups!!! I can now do nearly 8 “big girl” push-ups before collapsing, but I know that my upper body strength is improving slowly! I hope on the mini TC I will be able to get in a couple of sets.

I have loved being a part of this TC and look forward to the mini TC over the next 6 weeks.

I want my buddies to know how much I appreciate all their insight, knowledge and encouragement, their constant notes on my blog to keep me going, to keep me moving forward. It was wonderful having you all at my side, I love the closeness of this community, this family we should all be so very proud of and just wanted you all to know that you all mean so much to me, thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
