Among the many things I've learned during the Summer Transformation Challenge is that 15 minutes a day is all I really need to change my body. It took me about 8 weeks into my second Club FYM challenge for that to really sink in!

The only common denominator among all the ladies who are members of Club FYM or who use the FYM Lifestyle system is that we are all BUSY WOMEN!

We at Club FYM have found a method of exercise that causes the physiological changes we need to get fit and shed fat in 15 minutes per day. It's just a matter of knowing what to do within that 15 minutes that sets on fire the fat incinerator that burns till the next short, but effective 15 minute workout.

During the Summer Transformation Challenge I became free of the need to create security in my life by always owning a large piece of exercise equipment. The security came from feeling that as long as I was on the piece of equipment then I was working out, whether it was an exercycle, Nordic Track, treadmill, an elliptical, whatever! I needed a piece of equipment to make me feel secure because I didn't really know how to work out.

I have already given our current machine away and am looking forward to the freed up space. The workout's I have been doing from the FYM program have been far more effective than any machine I owned ever was or could be. I will never be hooked by an infomercial selling the latest thing that promises to change my body, again! I am free and getting better results than ever!

Consistency has been the key for me, since I ruined my metabolism in the past by exercising for hours at a time on an empty stomach, which only made me fatter. I have kept a detailed journal of my workouts and nutrition during the STC and slowly but surely my metabolism is beginning to be a smooth running machine again.

I am a work in progress and the ladies here in the forum at Club FYM have been beside me all the way by giving me words of encouragement just at the right times, cheering me on, and giving me advice when I needed it. Logging in to Club FYM has been so empowering. I am never alone on my journey to fitness and getting my body back better than ever.

When I started this challenge I was all about the results. Stepping on the scale and whipping out the tape measure, looking for any sign that I was getting results.

I was so focused on results that I was becoming unhappy. I knew I needed an attitude adjustment. I kept saying that I just needed to focus on doing what I needed to do each day and to never mind about the results. But, saying it and doing it were two different things in my situation. I was still checking the scale and tape measure and stewing.

One of the dear angels at Club FYM posted Mylie Cyrus' song, "The Climb" in the forums. I had never heard it before, so it really had an impact on me. I was able to really focus in on the words and the meaning. Every word was exactly what I needed to hear! That was the catalyst for my attitude adjustment.

My new mindset that I picked up during the Summer Transformation Challenge and which I will take with me from now on: I am on a journey. This is my fitness journey. The funny thing is, I have said that all along, but I didn't really know what it meant, I guess. I was fighting it and I just wanted to be there like the little kid who keeps asking, "Are we there yet?"

But, now, I love it! This is my journey. This is my life. With every step I'm one step closer to getting my life and body back, better than ever! This is my daily joy! As I become stronger on the outside I am becoming a stronger and more confident person on the inside. That is the most heart felt and meaningful thing that I've learned during the STC, there is joy in the journey for me!
