At the beginning of this challenge, I was so sick with what I had allowed my body to become.

Even before my pregnancy, I was not taking care of my health, and it showed. Not only in how I dressed, but in how much energy I had to do things with my husband and friends and how I ate. I kept on thinking that I could just run a bit longer or add an extra day at the gym to work on my body and get back into shape.

But after having my daughter and starting working out again, that just was not getting me any results. I was exercising for two-hour sessions 5 to 6 days a week and then training for a half-marathon on top of it all and only lost a few pounds and not many inches at all! Then, Marloes introduced me to FYM and Club FYM and it has changed my life.

After finishing the STC, I feel so different about my body. I now know that I can have the body I want and not just the body I had pre-baby. I know that my body is stronger and I think about what I eat in regards to fueling my body and not just how it will taste.

I have been eating clean about 85% of the time and really notice when I have had something to eat that I should not have as my digestion is slow and I just don’t feel well. I know how great being healthy feels and why would I ever want to go back!

I am so impressed with the inches lost and weight that has accompanied it. I know that as I continue with the FYM program, that I will only continue to see the changes in my body. I really struggle with not being tied to the scale. I need to remember that what the scale says does not necessarily reflect in how my body looks in regards to inches lost and body changes. It will be something I struggle with as I have always been attached to my scale.

I plan to continue my body transformation journey with the next challenge in August. I know that as I get to know other FYMs through this challenge and on Club FYM, my support system will only get larger and I will feel that I always have to be accountable to myself, and everyone else who is supporting me on this journey. I know I need to continue working on eating clean, as I occasionally have slip-ups and working on my cardio sessions as I have not always challenged myself hard enough.

In the final coaching call, another FYM said that taking a few days off after a 12-week challenge is like rebooting your computer. I feel like just following this program is like buying a brand new computer. I have just upgraded my body to a much faster model with lots of bells and whistles but know that there is an even better model in me waiting to come out!
